Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026.
This page explains what data we collect when you visit imaginationthatworks.com, why, and who else sees it. It applies only to this website — not to projects we build for clients, which have their own privacy terms.
We’re Imagination That Works (“ITW”, “we”, “our”), a women-owned exhibit design studio based in Ardmore, PA. If anything here is unclear, get in touch.
What we collect
The short version: as little as possible. Specifically:
- Pages you visit, browser, and approximate location. Collected on every visit via Google Analytics 4. IP addresses are anonymized by GA4 before storage.
- What you send us in the contact form — your name, email, and message. Collected only when you fill it in and submit.
- Server logs — standard nginx access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser user agent, timestamp), retained briefly by our host for security and debugging.
We don’t have user accounts, we don’t sell anything on this site, we don’t run email marketing, and we don’t have a mobile app.
Cookies
This site sets two analytics cookies, both from Google Analytics 4:
_gaand_ga_EZ5EWF3KW5, set on this domain, expiring after 2 years. They distinguish unique visitors and persist session state.
If you’d rather we didn’t count your visit, you have a few options:
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Turn on tracking protection in your browser (Brave, Safari, and Firefox all block GA by default to some degree), or use a content blocker like uBlock Origin.
- Clear cookies for this site in your browser.
Who else sees your data
Three third parties are involved in running the site:
- Google Analytics 4 receives anonymized usage data on every visit. Google’s privacy policy. GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default.
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us as email. They retain submission data per their privacy policy.
- Heroku (Salesforce) — hosts the site. Standard web access logs pass through their infrastructure. Heroku privacy.
We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we don’t sell it.
How we use what you send us
The contact form is the only place you can hand us your information directly. We use it to reply to your inquiry, and (if it’s about an actual project) to keep notes through that conversation. We don’t add you to any mailing list. If we no longer need your message, we delete it.
Your rights
If you’re in the EU, UK, California, or any jurisdiction with similar rules, you have the right to ask us:
- What data we hold about you
- To correct it
- To delete it
- To stop using it
Email us at hello@imaginationthatworks.com and we’ll act on the request within a reasonable time. There’s no form to fill out.
Children
The site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
Pages on this site may link out to other websites — clients, partners, articles. We don’t control those sites or what they do with your data; check their own privacy policies.
Changes
We’ll update this page if anything material changes, and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site itself.
